These were done at a water park for kids which has been built in our local park. A painting of Ella made from these outings was a finalist in the Lethbridge 100000 Small Scale Art Award this year. http://www.brettlethbridge.com/10000_finalists_2011.php
Nice new Ella squiggles, old chestnut. That one with Penn might make a nice painting. Has an "Orientalist" vibe.
